IT Project Manager Job

IT PROJECT MANAGER FOR CUSTOMER APPLICATIONS needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Execution of PM processes and deliverables
- Bi-Weekly status reporting to the IT PMO
- Ensure that project requirements are documented and achieved
- Maintain regular status updates to project sponsors
- Manage a team of matrixed resources across IT and business support groups

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five (5) years experience as an applications PM
- Must have managing IT application development experience
- Ability to effectively apply structured project management methodologies
- Experience working with various customer facing applications, complex interfaces, data hub/mart architecture
- Strong technical background with ability to effectively communicate between business and IT experts
- Demonstrated effective project management skills, especially planning and directing work efforts, and motivating teammates
- Demonstrated success translating objectives into project plans
- Demonstrated success with scheduling and financial management processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, sometimes unrelated efforts simultaneously
- Ability to effectively apply established project standards and change management processes
- Experience working with applications highly driven by changing regulatory requirements
