IT Project Manager Job

IT PROJECT MANAGER (LARGE WEB SITE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS EXPERIENCE) needed for a 3-4 CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY with Yoh's client located in SAN FRANCISCO, CA

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Minimum of 4 to 6 years managing technical projects - large web based projects
- Strong knowledge of web, software development process and technologies

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Contract Project Manager WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING ONE VERY LARGE PROJECT ( WEB SITE BASED AD CAMPAIGN)
- Working directly with the client services team, THE PM WILL BE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN RECEIVING CLIENT BRIEFS AND RESPONDING WITH METICULOUS PROJECT PLANS, SCOPE AND RISK ASSESSMENTS.
- Drive delivery teams towards meeting business objectives of all clients.
- Work directly with creative, off shore development, and account teams by coordinating innovation within the web space.
- MANAGE AND DELIVER LARGE PROJECT ON TIME AND BUDGET INCLUDING: RISK, SCHEDULE, QUALITY AND COMMUNICATION (SCOPE HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE)
- Responsible for budget, margin tracking and reporting
- PREPARE ALL PROJECT DOCUMENTATION, INCLUDING: PLANS, SOW'S, STATUS REPORTS, ETC.
- Effectively manage all lines of communication between clients and internal stake holders
- Identify resource requirements, required skill sets and allocation of team members
- Effectively manage conflict negotiation and project escalation
- Focus on company objectives

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- MINIMUM OF FOUR TO SIX (4 TO 6) YEARS MANAGING TECHNICAL PROJECTS - LARGE WEB BASED PROJECTS
- IN DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT TOOLS, BEST PRACTICES AND PROCESSES
- Proven organizational skills and relentless attention to detail
- Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills
- STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF WEB, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS AND TECHNOLOGIES
- Strong understanding of Waterfall/Agile methodologies
- Strong working experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Visio
- Knowledge of QA planning and execution techniques specifically estimating, planning and managing QA for all projects

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- PMP certification a plus
- Experience with mobile based platforms a plus
