IT Project Manager, IT Security, Banking, Long-term Contract in Zürich

For one of our clients, a worldwide renowned Bank based in Zürich, Swisslinx is currently looking for an IT Project Manager.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organizes and leads the project and the team (ie plans and manages allocated resources, shapes priorities, coordinates interactions with customers and users and keeps the project team focused) on mandate of Program Manager
Manages relationship with all project stakeholders (CIO function, Business, BSM, Interface partners, etc.)
Coordinates regularly with the Business Project Lead concerning requirements, project plan and reporting
Organizes and leads the project team (ie plans and manages allocated resources, shapes priorities, coordinates interactions with customers and users and keeps the project team focused)
Ensures an efficient project governance - roles and responsibilities
Provides the project plan and updates it as needed (deadlines, milestones, delivery, requested and planned resources etc.)
Schedules and manages the project according to the project management plan and ensures all relevant project deliveries during all phases
Establishes a set of practices that ensure the integrity and quality of project work products
Ensures all necessary sign-offs according to the guidelines and performs all relevant reviews
Ensures provision of cost and effort estimations Staffs the project by requesting resources, eg PMO, BA, DEV
Prepares information and recommendation for choosing the appropriate sourcing pattern
YOUR PROFILE:
Experience in the software development life cycle, the domain of the application and platform
Scope estimation, planning, time management, scheduling, project costing, and budget management
Resource planning, resource management, and procurement
Risk analysis, dependencies, and decision analysis skills
Presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
Experience in project management
Leadership and team building capabilities
Conflict resolution, problem solving skills, and the ability to make sound decisions under stress
Deliverables based management, a focus on the delivery of customer value, in the form of executing software that meets (or exceeds) the customer's needs.
This is a 9 months contract initially.
Start date: ideally ASAP.
