This organisation is a major player in the Banking and Finance sector and is looking for an IT Project Manager with experience in Investment Banking. The IT Project Manager will be part of an exciting and growing team with a strong possibility for long term contract extensions. This organisation have state of the art facilities in the heart of Dublin's busy financial district.
City Centre location. Easily accessible via public transport
6 month Contract role
Opportunity to influence exciting IT Finance projects
Roles and Responsibilities:
Stakeholders Management with particular focus with Sponsors, Gate Keepers, other Project Management offices, as well as internal and external technologists.
Facilitation decisions between Senior level Sponsors spanning multiple business lines, and functions
Problem solve complex issues across a broad range of disciplines
Appreciation and understanding in working in a global environment with many diverse cultures Understand the bigger picture and ensure relative priority and perspective is brought to bear
Be a self-starter and be able to adapt to change, with a strong focus on delivery and 'do whatever it takes'
Be able to identify risks, assess and quantify their impact, and develop actions or plans that mitigate risks manifesting themselves
Key Skills
* Payments experience is desirable and investment banking technology experience essential
* Demand Management of working with Sponsors/Gatekeepers to prioritise and projects requests is essential
* Relationship Management of business sponsors/Gatekeepers as a front of house representative for the wider project team
