IT Project Manager - Insurance

IT Project Manager wanted for our client in the Insurance sector based in Brussels.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Master´s degree with 10+ years of experience in project management, including program management.
- 2 - 5 years of experience working in the insurance sector, preferably managing IT projects; a background in financial services would be a plus.
- nearshoring experience woud be an asset.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP certification and/or Zurich Lean Yellow Belt certification would be a plus
- Experience working on software development projects, preferably also having knowledge of VBA or .Net.
- Advanced Networking, Negotiating, Analytical Thinking skills
- 50% travelling to Spain, Latvia, Zurich, etc.
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, fluent in French or Flemish is advantageous.
YOUR TASKS:
- Establishing and maintaining appropriate communication and engagement with stakeholders
- Selecting appropriate processes required to meet the project objectives
- Supporting the sponsor in the setup of the project or program to ensure the business case is clearly defined (including estimates of required resources and funds) and relevant stakeholders are engaged as part of evaluating the preferred product solution
- Identifying, defining, combining, unifying, and coordinating the various project management processes and activities within the company to evaluate the proposed delivery method and (tailored) project management artifacts to be applied based on the circumstances and nature of the project
- Developing a detailed project plan at task level based on the agreed business case, manages and controls project delivery in accordance with baselined parameters and standards (time, cost, quality)
