IT Project Manager DWH Application Migration - English Speaking Contra

For a global bank based here in Zürich we are looking for a PM with solid application migration experience to join the project.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role is in the Data WareHouse (DWH) Business Intelligence testing area with focus on DWH application migration. We have a suite of DWH applications where we need a pro-active, customer oriented person with excellent communication skills having DWH background. We are looking for a skilled IT Project Manager who would be working in very dynamic environment, responsible for project coordination, own team and communication with involved stakeholders. The aim of the project is DWH application migration and belonging tools.

- IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Strong Planning and Tracking skills with keeping the budget under control
- DATA WAREHOUSE BACKGROUND
- Manages the overall program and structure
- Solid Track Record in delivery of IT system integration/migration projects including its deliverables
- Knows what the testing means for the project delivery
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods with keeping an eye on budget

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
- PMI or PMP certification preferred
- Fluent English written and spoken, German is a plus
- min. 5 year experience required in IT project management
