IT Project Manager - Datacentre Consolidation Project

A well known Australian organisation is seeking a Project Manager to join their busy IT Project Team. This social and dynamic workplace is located in the western suburbs and has fantastic staff benefits. We require a Project Manager who can hit the ground running to manage a Datacentre Consolidation Project and potentially other IT projects, so candidates must have both end to end Infrastructure and Software Development Project Management experience.

The successful candidate will have the following:

- Experience in a dedicated end-to-end project management role, managing projects across the full SDLC and Infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects in an IT environment.
- Have created and controlled project plans.
- Have managed project financials in MS Project.
- Proven experience identifying scope issues, communicating with key stakeholders, chaired meetings and created relevant status reports.
- Previous Datacentre consolidation experience will be highly regarded.
- Risk/problem management.
- Exceptional organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The successful candidate will be managing a variety of concurrent IT projects so must also have demonstrated an ability to work with and co-ordinate people of any level. As this role is part of a busy PMO, you must be able to work as a team and have the right attitude to ensure success.
