IT Project Manager - Credit Risk Application Delivery (4011)

For a six month project at our client, an international bank in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced:

IT PROJECT MANAGER - CREDIT RISK APPLICATION DELIVERY (4011)

You will be joining the an Application Delivery Project Manager Pool and run projects aligned to the CREDIT RISK APPLICATION DELIVERY DEPARTMENT with a team of IT analysts and software engineers. Main focus will be on STRATEGIC REGULATORY SOURCING FOR BCBS and driving the Methodology compute platform into the future.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- EXPERIENCED IT PROJECT MANAGER WITH FRONT TO BACK CHANGE EXPERIENCE WITHIN FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS
- FAMILIAR WITH SDLC PRINCIPLES (BASED ON RUP)
- EXPERT AT BUILDING NETWORKS AND CONNECTIONS - STRONG TECHNICAL UNDERSTANDING
- Familiar with Credit Risk/BCBS would be of advantage
- Understanding of what it takes to run successful projects in financial services hitting deadlines and staying within a budget
- Strong social and communications skill
- Experienced in providing the stakeholders with transparent, accurate and regular information regarding the program status
- PM Certification (Prince2, PMI, PMP or similar) is a plus
- Fluency in English

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible from end 2 end, this includes: budget, planning, execution and control, communication and reporting
- Manage continuous change requests within the project
- Manage the staffing of the project teams
- Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues
- Partner with experts across the organization
- Ensure adherence to project management standards
- Implement and/or reliably execute request management process
