For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:
IT PROJECT MANAGER (CONTRACT)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Plan the execution of all engineering and non engineering activities based on best practices and process improvement data as well as contribute with lessons learnt and measurement data from the process asset library
- Identify and manage risks to the project as well as issues, ownership and resolutions
- Plan, organise and appraise project resources
- Ensure and manage project quality and consistency of deliverables and facilitate the necessary sign offs
- Manage the change requests and integrate impacts into plans
- Run, organise and coordinate project status meetings, events and facilities
- Regular project reporting including monitoring, tracking of efforts, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies
- Effective communications to all stakeholders and business client management
- Support the project management and stakeholders in financial tracking, general logistics, processes, toolsets and administration
REQUIREMENTS
- 4-5 years' experience in project management, especially in software delivery project in the area of tax and regulation, preferably in the banking industry
- Hands-on experience in agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban) and tools of project management as well as project management office
- Proven track record in leadership through all phases of a project (requirements engineering, development, testing, go life)
- Outstanding knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint) is a MUST
- PMP certification highly advantageous
- Teamplayer and good communication skills
- Fluency in German and English is a MUST
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months (extension highly possible)
- Daily Rate: CHF 770.- all inclusive
- Location: Zurich
Only candidates who are Swiss or EU residents or currently hold a valid Swiss work permit can be considered.
