IT PROJECT MANAGER (CLINICAL OPERATIONS), BASEL - PHARMA

On behalf of our client, a global worldwide pharmaceutical company with HQ in Basel, we are looking for a SENIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER with experience IN CLINICAL INVESTIGATOR SITE PORTALS AND INTEGRATION PROJECTS.
This is a very long-term contracting role starting from April (latest May) until December 2017.
Scope of the project:
In this challenging new project, there are two hosted solutions (SSAS) which will need to be implemented from initiation to delivery. The integration and adoption of TransCelerate Shared Investigator Platform and Investigator Registry.
In this role the SENIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER will effectively manage the objectives in terms of scope, time, quality, resources, costs, risks and change management for the overall project consisting of both solutions with different timelines. The other key task consists in contributing to the deliverables creation (eg project documentation) and depending on the candidate Business Analysis activities.
YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE:
- At least 8 YEARS' EXPERIENCE AS AN IT PROJECT MANAGER preferably IN CLINICAL INVESTIGATOR SITE PORTALS AND INTEGRATION PROJECTS
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN ENGLISH PLUS PRESENTATION AND FACILITATION ABILITIES
- Proven experience with variety of techniques for requirements elicitation, analysis and definition (eg functional specifications, business process engineering, data flows diagrams, use of case analysis etc.)
- Demonstrated success communication across a variety of audiences incl. Business people and technologies (both up and down the organization)
- Experience in managing off shore contract resources
- EXPERIENCE IN PHARMA INDUSTRY ESP. WITH IMPLEMENTATION AND ADOPTION AND/OR INTEGRATION OF APPLICATION SUCH AS INVESTIGATOR SITE PORTALS SOLUTIONS THAT SUPPORT CLINICAL OPERATIONS (is highly preferred)
- Experience with CSV and GxP validated systems to a globally distributed stakeholders and end-users is a big advantage
