IT Project Manager - Cash and Custody Transaction Reporting

IT PROJECT MANAGER - CASH AND CUSTODY TRANSACTION REPORTING

On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English speaking IT PROJECT MANAGER. For this contract position based in Zürich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Responsible for management of the entire delivery cycle
- Close collaboration and dependency management with offshore development team, business partners and internal clients
- Tracking of project effort, milestones, financials
- Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues
- Plan and optimize utilization of project resources
- Ensure adherence to project management standards
- Contribute best practices, lessons learnt and measurement data from project to process asset library
- Implement and/or reliably execute request management process

You must possess:

- Extensive experience in Project Management in software delivery projects
- Strong capabilities in methodologies and tools to perform all project management tasks and PMO activities
- Excellent knowledge in project management and agile methods (SCRUM/Kanban) as well as RUP and/or CMMI
- Very good leadership skills to drive implementation of a defined set of features through all phases (eg requirements engineering, development, testing, go life, organizational rollout).
- Practical experience of successful cooperation with offshore partners
- Practical experience in state-of-the-art software architecture and good understanding of banking products, experience in reporting or billing are a plus
