For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Basel, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:
IT PROJECT MANAGER - BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
BACKGROUND:
As a Project Manager you will be working in our multicultural, dynamic and innovative team focusing on managing business application projects and cross functional projects for our Diagnostics customers worldwide. You are responsible for effectively applying project management methodology (PMM) and Organizational Change Management (OCM) principles to complex, dynamic and agile projects balancing tactical and strategic goals. You must be able to manage multiple complex projects concurrently and across global locations and time zones and be able to travel internationally as needed. This position reports into the Head PMO Switzerland and is part of a team of Project Managers.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivering projects with medium to high complexity and risk according the defined and agreed success factors and KPI's, including cost, schedule, and scope/quality for strategic projects in the Analytics and Business Intelligence environment on premise and in the cloud and beyond
- Ensuring creating business value and trust, by delivering solutions in a predictable way
- Engage with the global business and demand stakeholders to ensure support, business readiness and change management
- Engage with the relevant Diagnostics IT demand, solution delivery domains, Diagnostics IT Governance and Pharma Informatics as needed
- Proactively share information within the team to participate in the learning organization
- Ensure solution delivery in close collaboration with near-shore or off-shore partners
- Successfully providing business solutions by implementing technical and/or process solutions through effective planning and predictable execution throughout all phases of our project management methodology (PMM)
MUST HAVES:
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a successful IT Project Manager using structured project management processes and methodologies. (IT projects in the area of Business Intelligence)
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a global or inter-cultural environment
- Strong Experience in planning and tracking projects
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Excellent consulting, negotiating and influencing skills
- Ability to manage the complexity of scope, time, cost, quality, risk on projects and team dynamics on a global level with a strong customer and delivery focus
- Solid understanding of Organizational Change Management and demonstrated competency in applying change management framework, processes and tools
- Strong analytical and abstracting skills and a "can-do" attitude in order to solve complex problems
- International and team oriented mindset
- Experience in working virtually across global locations and time zones (eg with offshore teams)
NICE TO HAVES:
+++ Experience in deploying GxP validated systems is an advantage
+++ Change Management qualification is an advantage (eg PROSCI Practitioner)
++ PMI/PMP certification or equivalent preferred
++ French speaking

End date: 15.10.2018 (plus possible extension)
