IT PROJECT MANAGER (BANKING)
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English speaking IT PROJECT MANAGER. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a work stream of a complex program. For this contract position based in Zurich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Provide technical leadership for a diverse application estate with many different technologies and platforms
- Provide Project Management for a number of technical implementation projects across a diverse portfolio
- Define work packages and coordinate developments involving multiple developers
- Manage stakeholders across the different projects both in the business and within IT
- Review designs and solutions to ensure they are in-line with architecture goals
- Manage issues/risks on projects
- Effective evaluation of different process and/or technology solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis of issues related to data or business requirements. Follow through on issues and open item with multiple stakeholders globally and develop solutions, propose solutions, and facilitate agreeing a conclusion
You must possess:
- 7 years of experience with broad range of applications and technologies
- Real estate domain experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of project management discipline and fundamentals
- Proven experience as a Project Manager
- Financial institution experience is a must
- Fluent with waterfall methodology
- German a plus
