IT Project Manager Asset Management

For our banking client based in Zurich we are currently looking for a

SENIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER

Location: Zurich

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months

Languages: English, German is a plus

- Clear understanding of Discretionary Mandates
- Asset Management (Front Office trading)
- Setting up mandates
- Portfolio optimisation
- Reporting

YOU OFFER

- In-depth knowledge of Private Banking especially Discretionary Mandates
- Proven track record of several years' experience in multi-year project management in an international and Matrix structured environment within the banking/finance sector
- Profound understanding of financial and IT organizations as well as the governance and the underlying processes
- Expertise in managing application development projects that involve business analysts, developers, architects and line managers from different teams, who develop and improve several applications in parallel to satisfy regulatory or corporate requirements
- Creative and pragmatic hands-on personality with an excellent understanding of large IT organizations and their characteristics
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple, mission-critical projects and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- An excellent team player who builds solid relationships characterized by mutual respect, openness, and trust and displays outstanding stakeholder management capabilities
- Excellent solution delivery methodology skills and strong problem solving ability as well as analytical skills
- An excellent ability to work collaboratively and manage various stakeholders across cultures and locations in a global environment
- Very good knowledge of standard IT project methodologies (Agile or PMP Certification preferred)
- High-end communication and presentation skills with a proven track record of senior management exposure
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is a strong plus
