IT Project Manager - 85% - Pharma Industry- Switzerland

IT PROJECT MANAGER (85%) required to work on a project for a major pharmaceutical in Switzerland

MAIN TASKS:

Identify all active projects
-

Catagorize projects by priority, scope, and domain
-

Lead the execution of the projects
-

Create project plan for activities
-

Ensure all decisions, risks, issues, meeting minutes, roadmaps, project schedules, status reports are created, captured updates communicated and available to all relevant stakeholders and team
-

Ensure all major stakeholders and core team are aware of important milestones and actions to be taken and reached
-

Facilitate the creation of required/relevant information from the project leads and sub projects
-

Ensure important actions, risks and issues are monitored, have mitigation plans, acted upon and communicated to all stakeholders and team members
-

Coordinate and run one on one's with the leads and stakeholders
-

Defineand get agreement on communications plan
-

Define milestones and reporting metrics
-

Create positive and productive team dynamics to ensure all core team members understand the goals, objectives and important milestones
-

Create summarized reports of all the activities within the project and ensuring all core team are aware of these
-

Identify resource needs, report resourcing issues and suggest mitigation actions

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

-years experience of project management
- Pharmaceutical industry experience together with a good understanding of processes/organization is a must
- Experience with managing a number of projects (of various scale) concurrently
- Recognised Project Management qualifications such as PMP

Team work in a challenging IT environment

Ability to work in an international as well as multicultural environment

Flexibility and experience in prioritizing tasks

Ability to deal with variable workload

LOCATION: SWITZERLAND - BASEL
DURATION: 15.09.14 FOR 6 MONTHS + OPTION TO EXTEND THE ENGAGEMENT

Assistance will be provided for obtaining Swiss Work Permit, Housing, and opening Swiss Bank account.
