IT Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Provide leadership for IT project team members and the Project Management process.
- Position generally used for projects requiring integration of multiple functional organizations.
- Works independently and mentors other project managers.
- Responsible for the pursuit of cost reductions and maximizing value on all assigned projects.
- Responsible for project communications and required negotiations with internal and external organizations.
- Directly accountable for the management of projects with an aggregate annual cash flow of over $3 million.

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor degree in Technical or Management Discipline
- 10 years overall experience of which 6 years have been as a project team member.
- OR 12 years of directly applicable industry experience,
- 6 years of which must be in the field of management of projects AND PMP Certification.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1) Advanced knowledge of the system approach for creating test cases based on functional requirement as well as execution.
2) Ability to educate business SME's on understanding business and functional requirements, creating test cases based on requirements and execution of test cases ensuring that the business process is being followed.
3) Ability to oversee a team of 4 or more SME's in UAT testing
4) Previous experience in ALM Test Management tool
5) Expertise in Defect management, working with internal and external vendors
6) Expertise in the creation of UAT test strategy and detailed test plans
7) Expertise in the creation of UAT test results documentation.
8) Ability to prepare status reports to leadership team
9) Experience in CIMS is a plus
10) BS or BA in MIS, Computer science or Engineering
