Projektbeschreibung

Project Manager to serve as the primary day-to-day leader of the project activities.

Specific responsibilities and deliverables will include but not be limited to the following:

Develop and help finalize a project charter/scope document.

Assist to identify, track, manage and create mitigation plans for project issues and risks;

Assist to identify, track and report project metrics.

Schedule and facilitate a work session with the Steering Committee leaders to define the project: Vision, mission and objectives Scope Not defined the scope from a service line and facility perspective, which requires the identification all service lines and facilities that must be included in the project scope

Partner with other Project Managers to prepare a comprehensive project budget leveraging the cost estimate tool

The Project Manager will be responsible for any project requisitions and preparation of the monthly financial reports

Schedule and facilitate a work session with the Project Management Group members to define the roles and responsibilities for each project team member

Prepare a comprehensive, detailed work plan that includes all leadership, project management and change management tasks, resource requirements and project dependencies

In conjunction with the project track managers (revenue cycle, change management and technical), monitor the status of tasks and take appropriate steps necessary to re-direct priorities to ensure adherence to implementation dates and completion of the project objectives

Chairs the Project Management Group meetings; including creating and publishing an agenda and maintaining meeting minutes

Prepares materials for, and co-chairs, the Executive Oversight Committee meetings with project sponsors to report project progress including the status of project tasks, issues and risks

Develop, implement and manage a standardized project status report and reporting methodology including a management approach to identify, report and escalate issues and risks

Presents project scope change requests to the Project Management Group and Executive Oversight Committee members for approval

Coordinates decisions with the Project Management Group and Executive Oversight Committee as necessary

Coordinate the reviews and approval of project deliverables

Coordinate technical installations that need to occur if that is necessary beyond what we have today

Coordinate the creation of test scripts and oversee the testing efforts to ensure testing is completed according to the implementation plan/timeline

Schedule and facilitate a work session with the Project Management Group members to develop implementation strategies including:

An implementation strategy to convert all professional charges from paper to an electronic charge process by October 1, 2015

Develop a contingency strategy for those specialties least impacted by ICD10 that cannot be converted by the goal date A communication strategy

Partner with change management resources to schedule and lead design work sessions with various inter-disciplinary groups to:

Document current state and future state work flow Identify work flow gaps and develop mitigation strategies Address outstanding interface design issues

Facilitate communication within and between the project team and the customer groups

Participates in development and implementation of the plan to transition from implementation to production

The Project Director will report to an Executive Steering Committee comprised of: CFO CIO Physician Services Interim President

Project Manager Skills and Expertise

The ideal Project Manager candidate will possess the following skills and expertise:

10+ years project management experience in the healthcare industry specifically pertaining to revenue cycle project implementation work at large, complex integrated delivery systems

Proven ability to lead large projects with: Complex objectives and activities Teams comprised of 30+, matrixed, resources from multi-areas of an organization and external vendors

Budgets in excess of $5 million in capital and operating dollars

Vendors providing services, applications, hardware, and other components

Ability to plan, scope and lead all project phases and components

Knowledge and experience with electronic charge capture solutions

Knowledge of best practice charge capture and revenue cycle processes in physician offices and hospital outpatient departments

Knowledge and experience with change management implementation methodologies

Good understanding of report requirements needed to develop daily, weekly, monthly charge capture, exception and reconciliation dashboard and drill down capability

Preferred experience with various EMR solutions including charge capture solutions

Strong oral and written communication abilities

Organizational, analytical and problem solving abilities

Executive presence

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS Project
