IT Project Manager

We are seeking a PROJECT MANAGER will be responsible for supporting Technology Business Management activities, and more specifically project management for workforce planning efforts that help Technology to optimize its global workforce.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Partnering with Finance, Human Resources and Technology stakeholders, managing a cross-divisional program to develop and implementing a workforce plan

Work with business and technology subject matter experts to define scope, create accurate estimates, and develop budgets, project plans, and supporting documentation for the Workforce Planning Program.

Conduct project reviews

Manage project risks, issues and change control

Provide executive management with program updates

Track project budgets, forecasts and schedule

Ensure that all projects are in compliance with Visa's internal Project Management Methodology and Key Controls

Oversee the day-to-day aspects of the workforce initiative, including overall management of scope, schedule, and financial aspects of the initiative

Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to the cross-functional team of project leads. Provide project teams with expertise, direction, motivation, and encouragement.

Direct project team composed of: local teams, remote resources and external vendors. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changes in roles and responsibilities.

Achieve project goals by collaborating with stakeholders at all management levels across Visa, including architects and strategists, technical IT subject matter experts, business partners, vendors, and Visa senior management.

Demonstrate skills in conflict management and negotiation to achieve project goals and develop trust with stakeholders.

Manage through influence, but without direct management authority. Use capabilities to influence customers and stakeholders, and properly manage divergent expectations.

Identify and manage project dependencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of five years of proven experience managing technically complex, cross-organizational, multi-stakeholder projects.

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. In particular, a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels internally and externally as needed.

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically.

Financial services and card payments experience is a plus.

Strong leadership qualities and organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.

Ability to work independently, yet seamlessly integrate activities with other teams when needed.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

Candidate should have experience working in a technical environment.

Five years of proven experience managing technically complex, cross-organizational, multi-stakeholder projects.

Should have experience developing budgets, project plans, and supporting documents.
