The Fulfillment Center IT Infrastructure team seeks an IT Project Manager to join a group of highly skilled engineers and managers on a contract basis. This team is responsible for designing, building, and scaling the client's order fulfillment infrastructure in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. You will be the primary onsite IT Project Manager for the construction of a new enterprise Fulfillment Center warehouse.

Your ability to work independently with limited direction, communicate effectively with team members in disparate geographic locations, and provide leadership and direction will be keys to your success. As a single point of contact between operations and IT management teams, you will negotiate, resolve problems, and develop relationships at all levels of the organization as well as with outside vendors and contractors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage IT infrastructure project plan from beginning to end
- Provide leadership for build out teams comprised of technical IT staff
- Execute procurement tasks and work within a predefined budget
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify issues, and devise contingency plans
- Provide frequent on-site monitoring and enforcement of installation schedules and vendor quality, inspect prospective and completed facilities in accordance with corporate standards and procedures, and ensure proper follow-up on punch lists and warranty work

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2 years of project management experience successfully delivering projects on-time, within budget, and in scope
- Strong oral and written communication skills and a proven ability to influence others internally and externally
- Possess an understanding of core Internet, networking, and telecommunications concepts
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and low voltage cabling
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across organizational structures and multiple management levels
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Must be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical staff
- Must wear construction site appropriate Protective Equipment while on site

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 4+ years of project management experience successfully delivering projects on-time, within budget, and in scope
- Experience in data center or warehouse environments
- Experience leading teams and providing the management, leadership, and mentoring
- Availability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
- Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft SharePoint
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline
