We re looking for a Project Manager with PMP certification and Enterprise Data Warehouse and data migration experience. S/He will be responsible for managing complex technology projects including software development and data platform Servers, storage and COTS. The PM will manage standard schedule/scope, budget, risk and change control management functions leveraging a large base of functional organization contributors as well as have regular customer interaction.

OVERVIEW:

- Manage a variety of technology projects potentially spanning Extract, Transformation and Load, Big Data, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and Reporting, and Publication Services deployments, upgrades and infrastructure buildouts.
- Study and understand the deployment requirements and to have the expertise and the ability to provide technical direction, motivation and encouragement to the team.
- Consult with users, management, Engineering and other Stakeholders to assess production and operational dependencies and needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required; MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
- PMP certification required
- 10+ years experience including Infrastructure and Large Data Warehouse experience
- Expert knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software required
- Expert knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods required
- Expert knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
- Strong understanding of SDLC
- Strong Microsoft Project experience
- Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback required
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Expert ability to work independently and manage ones time
- Must sit onsite in Foster City

MAJOR JOB DUTIES:

- Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity
- Manage backup, security and user help system
- Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements
- Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems
- Broker technical support to users for computer problems
- Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements
- Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures
- Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery
