Senior Project Manager -VOIP Senior Project Manager

Experience Required: 5-8 years experience in a similar role

Top 3 - 5 Daily responsibilities
This position will be responsible for assisting the NCAL Region with planning, deploying and executing our Voice Maintenance Plan, which consists of replacing our aging TDM PBX infrastructure with VoIP in approximately 400 locations.
Oversee KP-IT project schedules and plans for VoIP migrations. The position is not responsible for the direct project delivery rather oversight of other project manager. This is a complex activity involving the integration of project schedules from multiple concurrent projects across NCAL.
Manage the risks and issues for VoIP migrations across NCAL. Utilize escalation procedures to resolve issues and ensure accountability and follow-up of risks before they impact timeline and quality of deliverables.
Complete regular status reports and other reporting requirements for assigned project(s) and meet project management standards established by the Project Management Office.

Top 3 - 5 Required Skills
Knowledge of TDM, VoIP, and Telecommunications Networks
Experience managing Telecommunication providers or Telecommunications provider experience.
Client relationship building skills are essential, as is the ability to manage complex, medium to large-scale project schedules with multiple inter-dependencies.
Proven expertise in project planning methodology and in leading a matrixed team through a Voice Migration project life cycle
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.

Desired skills
Healthcare and Information Technology experience and knowledge.
Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute.

Soft Skills
Exercises judgment to make decisions for less defined issues and selects methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Good analytic and problem solving
Complete assignment independently with minimal guidance
Can tailor communication plan to support a broader audience of IT and business stakeholders, when managing projects across several application areas.
