IT Project Manager

Our client is one of the most recognized global financial services in the industry seeking a Senior-Level IT Project Manager for a premium contract opportunity. This role will be involved in the conversion of Technical Recovery Plans from Word to LDRPS. Must work on-site Foster City.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Review Technical Recovery Plans.
- Provide adequate subject matter expertise to recognize the adequacy and viability elements in a Technical Recovery Plan and understand industry standards and internal policies and procedures for IT Disaster Recovery.
- Review IT Disaster Recovery's exercise calendar and develop a schedule for plan conversions that immediately follows exercise completions.
- Schedule, facilitate, and conduct meetings with Business and IT as necessary to complete content deficiencies in Technical Recovery Plans.
- Record and track action items related to plan updates through resolution.
- Research the accuracy of content in plans by cross-validating information between Microsoft Word, Remedy, and SharePoint.
- Record data extracted from Technical Recovery Plans into LDRPS.
- Validate accuracy of conversion by generating and comparing LDRPS Technical Recovery Plans to Word originals.
- Provide analysts with accurate and timely updates on plan conversion.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an ITDR environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in LDRPS and Microsoft Office tools
- Must be able to articulate Disaster Recovery concepts with ease
- Must possess a strong track record of collaboration and teamwork beyond direct-line reporting to ensure efficient relationship with teams and technical staff across the enterprise
- Significant knowledge of and experience with current industry standards
- Must be able to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing, and high pressured environment
- Highly developed problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to effectively communicate to various levels of management and staff across the enterprise
- High level of personal initiative, creativity and self-motivation
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and indirect influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence of individuals at various organizational levels
- CBCP/BCI certification preferred
