IT Project Management Specialist

Yoh has a long-term contract opportunity for an IT PROJECT MANAGER to join our client in Charlotte, NC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Sr. IT Business Consultant/Project Manager/System Management functions within the Renewables.
- The Projects and Support team will work closely with Renewables business management and staff, external vendors, and the internal IT division to build out and support a scalable IT infrastructure to support Renewables.
- This role includes responsibilities in coordinating and managing IT Projects for Renewables and Commercial Transmission.
- This role is responsible for customer satisfaction, problem resolution assistance, communication, support of Corporate IT standards and policies, and development and adherence to service level agreements.
- This role will provide system management support for vendor systems and vendor system interfaces.
- This role will require participation in a 24/7 On-call rotation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Four (4) year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- At least four (4) years of project management experience including experience in developing and maintaining project plans using Microsoft Project or an equivalent tool to effectively plan, organize, direct, and monitor work activities related to a project.
- Demonstrated integration skills (IT and business needs) as well as demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and develop business cases; knowledge of Solution Delivery Lifecycle process.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and supporting a vendor application.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and supporting system interfaces.
- Demonstrated experience in evaluating and redlining the IT components of contracts.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization.
- Experience in application portfolio management.
- Knowledge of renewable generation (Wind and Solar) supporting processes and systems.
- Key energy management systems that will be involved in all projects are OSIsoft Pi, Alstom/AREVA, and other vendor SCADA systems.
- Experience and knowledge of OSIsoft Pi, Alstom/AREVA, and other SCADA systems is desired.
