IT Program Manager (TS/SCI Clearance) Job

IT PROGRAM MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Reston VA.

POSSESSION OF A TS/SCI CLEARANCE WITH LIFESTYLE POLYGRAPH IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

Top Skills Should You Possess:
- Three (3) years of recent (within the last five (5) years) experience serving as a SCRUM Master on a medium to large software development effort agile experience on an infrastructure project is not applicable
- Ten (10) years of experience translating complex technical requirements into user functionality

What You'll Be Doing:
- The sponsor organization is seeking an individual to serve as the SCRUM Master for an Agile team of approximately 18 members performing software development on an Enterprise application.
- The selected candidate will manage the day-to-day activities of the team including conducting the SCRUM meetings, plan the work for the upcoming sprints in partnership with the product owner, and groom the requirements backlog.
- This individual will also work closely with the Lead Developer to improve the velocity of the team, and with the Requirements lead to decompose the Epics into user stories.
- Five (5) years of experience in a key role (PM, Software Engineer, Test Lead) with an Enterprise Application in the sponsor's organization
- Demonstrated experience with the sponsors development standards (products, tools, etc.)
- Five (5) years of experience using the sponsors development methodology Project Management Framework (PMF)
- Demonstrated experience with the sponsors computing environments
- Demonstrated experience with the sponsors business applications (Asset tracking, Help Desk, Financial, etc.)

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Master's degree with an emphasis on CS, IS, Management of IT or SE eight to ten (8-10) years of minimum applicable experience
- Candidate must have SCRUM Master certification within the past five (5) years
