IT Program Manager

- 6 month contract
- Start fresh in 2013 - January start

My client is a respected organisation looking for an IT Program Manager to join their team for an initial 6 month contract with view to extend.

This role demands extensive liaison with business stakeholders and coordination of efforts of integrated Matrix of project members and multiple cross-functional IT teams and/or third parties.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

- Accountable to the Program Board for schedule, budget and quality of all the deliverables.
- Establish & execute program plan and strategies to meet program requirements
- Manage and regularly review budget, expenditure, schedule, risks, issues, assumptions & dependencies of overall program deliverables
- Manage the project teams ensuring appropriate resource allocation and workload assignment for timely deliveries
- Minimum 10 years' experience as IT Project Manager with at least 2 years as a Program Manager
- Experience in managing large, complex programs/projects, including resource and financial management responsibilities
- Experience in understanding customer requirements and facilitating solution delivery
- Certification in PRINCE2 or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills - ability to speak both business and technical terms
