IT Procurement Manager

IT Procurement Manager - Our client, a leading financial services company is looking for an IT Procurement Manager to join their team in Brussels for an initial short term contract. As IT Procurement Manager you will work within the Procurement Department who are going through a transformation to become more effective and meet industry best practices. You will need to manage company spending effectively.

IT Procurement Manager will be responsible for the implementation of the optimal sourcing of products and services. You will define and put in place a sourcing approach for assigned products and services within your category and you will manage contracts in a various spend categories through a network of suppliers to ensure business objectives are met. Another responsibility will be to support Procurement Directors in their sourcing strategies and to develop and maintain a network with the supply markets (suppliers, advisors etc).

Further responsibilities of IT Procurement Manager will be monitoring and challenging internal and external supply and demand, and aligning sourcing and contracting approaches to maximise benefits to client. You will work with other Procurement Officers to share expertise and apply best business and procurement practices. You will also implement saving levers related to contracts, based on the outcome of agreed implementation of the category plans.

IT Procurement Manager skills required:

- Extensive procurement and sourcing experience
- Able to keep confidentiality
- Relationship management
- French or Dutch a bonus
