IT Procurement Analyst

Under the direction of a manager, the IT Procurement Analyst is responsible for coordinating the procurement and receiving of IT equipment for all Stakeholders located throughout the assigned division. This individual will review procurement requests to determine technology needs, maintain supplier relationships and processes, gather supplier quotes to effectively control purchasing costs, and maximize the company's buying power.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

- 5+ years demonstrated work experience and 3+ years in a fast paced procurement role, vendor management, or related work field
- Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround
- Ability to efficiently and creatively solve moderately difficult or complex problems that affect people within group or other related groups
- Ability to build effective working relationships inside and outside group; maintains confidentiality of information and uses discretion and judgment in discussing client information
- Ability to take effective action without having to know the total picture
- Understands customers, proactively gathering information to learn about their needs and expectations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, and strong customer focus

This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration.
