IT Operations Support Specialist

Yoh has an immediate opportunity for an IT OPERATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST to join our client in Wilmington, DE. This is a one (1) year contract position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides management for the support, availability, operation, and recoverability of production systems. Includes functions in support of end user needs.
- Production control, problem management, second- or third-level application production support, and other support for a variety of systems, such as OS390, Datawarehouse, Unisys, UNIX, Linux, and PeopleSoft, among others.
- Also includes all functions to keep the enterprise computing complex (usually Mainframe or server farm) responsive to end users' needs, such as tape librarian and other storage-related duties.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Service Experience (One plus (1+) years).
- Financial Services experience is desired.
- COF experience is a plus.
- General knowledge of pertinent systems.
- Experience providing support to a variety of systems, such as OS390, Datawarehouse, Unisys, UNIX, Linux, and PeopleSoft, among others.
- Mission Criticality: Experience working on internal facing applications.
- Troubleshooting: Basic demonstration of diagnostic skills.
- Provides clear concise communication with project team members.
- Exposure to working with third parties.

HOURS: 12 hour rotating shifts. 4 day/3 day work week. 7am-7pm or 7pm- 7am shifts.
