IT Operations Consultant

Job Description:

1.   Pre sales

- Collect and analyze customer needs and Opex information.
- Assess Professional Services opportunities and recommend strategies and tactics how to deliver solutions.
- Lead and/or support C-level customer communications (eg. customer visits, workshops), regarding proposed delivery solutions.
- Support sales engagements for key global PS projects (mainly for outsourcing) in terms solution architecture (including both technical and commercial solutions), proposal development, bidding clarification, business case development and contract negotiation.
- Support Due Diligence and contract negotiation where required.
- Build and leverage high level customer relationships to facilitate PS sales engagements and project deliveries.
- Act as mentor and coach to PMO staff in HQ and front line to support the development of PS delivery competence.
- Compile project experiences and case studies, conduct training sessions and facilitate global knowledge transfer.
- Develop training courses and materials (including case studies) for staff in HQ and regions, and delivery training courses either on-site or remotely.
- Other duties may be assigned to business needs and management decisions.

2. Outsourcing

- Collect and analyze typical operator requirements, set up modularized outsourcing solution architecture.
- Develop and optimize outsourcing solution including proposal template, customer presentation materials, contract templates and risk register..
- Develop and optimize outsourcing sales guide including the guide for sales process implementation, OPEX analysis and Due Diligence etc.
- Bring the developed solution/toolkit to the real project for trial run and continually improvement.
- ATB/ATC review (technical and commercial) for key Outsourcing project
- Develop training courses and materials (including case study) for staff in HQ and regions, and delivery training courses either on-site or remotely.
- Act as mentor and coach to selected MS sales staff in both HQ and Regions to develop and improve their competencies in handling MS sales engagements.
- Other duties may be assigned to business needs and management decisions.

3.  Transition/Transformation

- Provide support for major PS delivery projects in establishment, transition and transformation.
- Ensure delivery strategy and alignment. Build a strong and sustainable MS operation.
- Coach the local team in PS delivery best practice. Transfer knowledge to the local Delivery team.
- Consolidate PS experience in the field, produce training materials and case studies to share with the PS organization and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
- Professional expertise area focused on Transition/Transformation.

4.   OSS

- Support the design of Mobile Service Assurance and Fulfillment deployments.
- Overall OSS solution architect.
- Align and integrate all OSS with related business processes. (Fault Management, Change & Configuration Management, Preventive Maintenance etc.)
- Create and maintain the Project Scope & Timeline.
