IT Network Specialist Job

IT NETWORK SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in WASHINGTON, WV.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- The primary focus of this position is to maintain the networking environments at a large manufacturing facility.
- This includes designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing of network infrastructure.
- The position will be working as part of an "End to End" team delivering services and projects to ensure Networks and IT systems reliably support critical business functions.
- One (1) year contract could be extended

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Design, configure, and support networks (switching and routing) in campus environment utilizing Cisco services and solutions
- Manage and Support Local Area Networking and Wireless Networking in manufacturing environment
- Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
- Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and support
- Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware to resolve operational issues and restore services.
- Any other duties as assigned by management

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in IT or Equivalent Experience
- Experience with Network Support (Local and Wide Area Networks)
- Experience with Wireless Network Administration (RF, UAP, and Devices)
- IT technical/functional experience five (5+) years
- Current CCNA certification or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of VoIP implementation and support
- Maintain network security through proper configuration of VPN and Firewalls
- Windows Server 2003 & 2008 experience a plus
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a small business environment
