IT Messaging Engineer (IM/Federation) - 50-65k+ Location/Sector : London / Finance A leading global financial services company is looking to hire a Messaging Engineer to engineer and support global messaging platforms - with a focus upon instant messaging and federation environment. The role is multidimensional with a mixture of project work alongside troubleshooting, system monitoring and improvements on both local and global scales. Ideal skill set/experience: * Windows OS * Instant Messaging: OCS 2007, LYNC 2010/2013, Open Fire or other XMPP based IM platforms. * Federation for instant messaging * Core Messaging: Exchange, Ironport, Blackberry ES and Symantec Vault * Mixture of: Networking, Automation (powershell), management apps (SCOM) and protocols (XMPP, SIP, SMTP, POP, IMAP, RPC over HTTPS.
