IT Journalist/Reporter

For our client in refinery we are looking for a journalist/reporter who can write articles and shoot video's to promote the internal IT department.

Start date: 1-1-15

Duration: 12 months

Location: Brussels (occasional travel)

Language: Primary=French. Secondary=English

Our client has launched a new IT department covering all the services for the entire group. In order to promote this new department they are looking for a communication expert.

This expert will write articles and shoot videos for two target groups:
1. the internal IT department.
2. The business users.

You need to be capable of interviewing highly technical people and translate these interviews into 'common English'. These articles will be published on the Intranet. Articles will be written and edited by you, and the rest of the team (2 others). The primary language is French, and they have an internal translation expert who can re-write you articles in perfect grammar.

Besides writing articles you'll also be responsible for video material. The articles will be written and edited in a team. The videos will be your solo responsibility, for example video interviews. You will be responsible for both shooting and editing the videos. The team you'll be working in is new. You don't need full-on IT knowledge, but you need to be interested in IT and have some understanding.
