IT INVENTORY TECHNICIAN OKLAHOMA CITY, OK 3 Month Contract Opportunity

We are looking for strong IT Inventory and Asset Control Technicians to provide the utmost in performance and customer service to one of our largest retail clients. The ideal Technician needs to be willing to be on the road as s/he will be dispatched to provide Inventory Support to various retail locations up to 175 miles from the home territory on a 3 month contingent opportunity.

The Technician should be available for approx. 1 night of overnight travel per week and s/he will be utilizing their own vehicle and expensing mileage weekly. Accommodations will be provided when necessary. Ideal work schedule on this opportunity is Sunday through Thursday, 6AM-3PM. SUMMARY

Comprehensive Inventory Analysis and Process Control with CompuCom in a fast-paced, high volume retail setting.

OVERVIEW

- Responsible for the coordination, identification, and sorting of company IT inventory.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cycle counting, physical inventories, tracking, trend reporting, and discrepancy identification.
- Ensures inventory and related processes, transactions, and records are accurate and sufficiently completed and turned into their respective team lead.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

- Holds strong IT knowledge and terminology in both component identification and inventory control
- Communicates effectively and appropriately when dealing with clients and other resources
- Demonstrates the initiative and creativity for self-development within and outside of the company

QUALIFICATIONS

- To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must have knowledge of basic computer skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook very helpful
- Must work well with little supervision
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail - will be working both individually and in a team environment
- In certain locations, the project could last for 8 hours+ daily
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds while on the job
- A positive demeanor with your coworkers and our client is essential for project success
