You will be part of a talented team that is working on an innovative solution to change the way we work with data. Our internship will allow you to develop your skills and knowledge in an area that covers interactive data analysis and beautiful data visualization.
You will play an important role in the back-end development of new product features. One of the areas will cover online data sources such as Google Analytics/Spreadsheet, Facebook, Twitter etc. The aim will be to connect, read and transform to the data for analysis. This internship will also allow you to focus on areas such as data analysis, security and governance.
What we are looking for
· You like a challenge and you are good in fixing problems
· You can think out-of-the box with a creative mindset
· Having something to show for is a big plus. Examples of side projects, work you're proud of or relevant experiences make a big difference
· You're fluent in English
· You are in your last (or penultimate) year of university/college, preferably in computer science or equivalent studies
· You are available for a three- to six-month internship
Expected qualifications
· Must have knowledge of Java
· Experience with REST APIs
· Solid understanding of SQL
· Knowledge of the Spring Framework
· Experience with databases (Oracle, MS SQL, …) is a big plus
· Experience with data security, governance or cleaning is a big plus
