IT Infrastructure Technician Job

IT INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Palo Alto CA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Responsibilities include defining the business requirements for the organization's next generation of collaborative work tools, which involves working with end-users to develop specifications for the development and implementation of groupware applications (eg, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Exchange).
- Based on the business requirements, responsible for the implementation, maintenance and support of groupware systems.
- Evaluates and recommends associated hardware/software solutions based on business requirements and user needs
- Responsibilities include providing technical leadership in the design, development and promotion of selected groupware strategies.
- Actively involved in engineering and deploying various groupware applications such as team collaborative computing, Internet and wireless access, document sharing and next generation messaging clients.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Supporting a Research and Development site of approximately 305 users in a Microsoft Active Directory/Enterprise environment. Review IT Requests via the ticketing system each morning ( Remedy) Reimage Laptops and Desktops ( MS SCCM OSD ) Setup and deploy new computers, Trouble shoot and repair of users laptop/desktop Assists users with their: Access, Applications, phones Help users set up meetings ( A/V hardware in meeting rooms ) Assist w/new software/process roll outs Hardware: Dell Laptops and Desktops.
- Software: Windows OS MS Office Lotus Notes w/a near future migration to Outlook McAfee
