IT Infrastructure Specialist Job

IT INFRASTRUCTURE SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in New Century, Kansas.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience with PCs/laptops and troubleshooting issues
- Office 2010/Outlook 2010 skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsibilities include defining the business requirements for the organization's next generation of collaborative work tools, which involves working with end-users to develop specifications for the development and implementation of groupware applications (eg, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Exchange).
- Based on the business requirements, responsible for the implementation, maintenance and support of groupware systems. Evaluates and recommends associated hardware/software solutions based on business requirements and user needs.
- Responsibilities include providing technical leadership in the design, development and promotion of selected groupware strategies. Actively involved in engineering and deploying various groupware applications such as team collaborative computing, Internet and wireless access, document sharing and next generation messaging clients.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience with Avaya IP is a plus, but not required. Manager is willing to train on Avaya IP) This would include troubleshooting phone/voice mail issues and working with the vendors when there are problems
- Re-imaging a computer if one were to fail
- Basic troubleshooting of the printers if there are issues
- Ability to drive to the St. Joseph, MO site, as needed, therefore candidate will need to complete a DMV check and have access to reliable transportation.
