IT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER

We are currently looking for an IT Project Manager with broad experience to co-ordinate and deliver an infrastructure project for our client in Zurich. This is a contract-based assignment and an excellent opportunity to join a leading financial firm.
Tasks
- Management of the project life cycle and deliverables
- Prepare/support the completion of the financial business case
- Responsible for governance, leadership, benefits tracking, cost management, delivery, planning and control, risk/issue and dependency management and quality assurance in a way that is understood and agreed by all stakeholders
- Responsible for the transitioning of the project into the business ensuring that changes are thoroughly and smoothly implemented, and that the lasting benefits of change are achieved
- Plan and execute major IT infrastructure changes
Requirements
- Profound technical understanding of IT infrastructure
- Excellent coordination capabilities internally and with 3rd party providers and vendors
- Fluent English and German spoken/written
- Solution and service oriented with a hands-on attitude, taking over ownership and showing leadership
- Good stakeholder management on different managerial levels, on IT and business side
- 5 years of IT infrastructure project management as well as PM certification (Prince2 and/or PMP)
- 5 years of implementation project experience in the finance industry
- Fast in adapting to new procedures and working practices of a dynamic and international environment
This is an exciting opportunity to work on an ambitious IT project within Banking & Finance.
Start Date: ASAP
Length of Contract: 6 MONTHS (OPTIONAL EXTENSION)
