IT Infrastructure Production Control Analyst (Data Center)

Yoh has a SIX (6) MONTH CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY for an IT INFRASTRUCTURE PRODUCTION CONTROL ANALYST (DATA CENTER) to join our ENERGY CLIENT in Charlotte, NC.

NOTE:

- This position is NIGHT ROTATIONAL SHIFT POSITION. Shift rotation pattern is available on request
- Shift schedules rotate days of the week and WORK 6:30PM TO 6:30AM.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The position supports the regular and reliable OPERATIONS OF THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INFRASTRUCTURE.
- Primary function is to MONITOR AND CONTROL THE INFRASTRUCTURE, and associated equipment, according to established standards, procedures and required documentation.
- PROVIDE MONITORING, SUPPORT, AND PROBLEM RESOLUTION for the enterprise batch scheduling environment.
- Monitor the server and Mainframe infrastructure and respond to alerts (requires a breadth of knowledge related to IT operations infrastructure).
- Provide documentation/reports for infrastructure related events.
- Determine (or assists in determining) and implement necessary changes to the IT infrastructure.
- Execute daily responsibilities in support of external groups (rebooting Servers, creating print queues, setting up DHCP scopes, TCP/IP address reservations, etc.).
- Participate on project teams that pertain to Data Center Operations Support.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Basic Qualifications: High school diploma required.
- Three to six (3 - 6) years of experience work in A COMPUTER DATA CENTER ENVIRONMENT.
- STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF CA7, ZEKE, OR CA WORKLOAD AUTOMATION (CYBERMATION/ESP/DSERIES) BATCH SCHEDULING SYSTEMS.
- Working knowledge of Windows, UNIX, and Mainframe operating systems.
- Understand network concepts which include TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience with Remedy Incident and Change Management (AR System) Software would be helpful.
