IT Infrastructure Manager

IT INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGER

My client has a requirement for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to join their project.You will be required to drive all activity related to Infrastructure and Desktop and will assist all South European countries driving the country directive coming from Global Head Office.

REQUIREMENTS

Establish and manage vendor relationships.

Manage the Infrastructure Transition Service Agreement in place to ensure a stable IT-environment.

Responsible for ensuring the local business infrastructure (Desktop-, File-, Print-, Telephony-Services; LAN/WAN and Servers) are available, monitored and appropriately managed.

Act as a point of contact for all infrastructure related topics

Design, develop, drive and deliver technology solutions and vision projects that are aligned to Global Technology Strategies and Standards and address complex business requirements:

Effective Deployment, Delivery and Support of IT Services and Solutions (Hardware and Software across IT Infrastructure Platforms) to End Users as well as Business Clusters throughout the region.

EXPERIENCE

Experience as a Network & System Administrator (AD User/Group)

Detailed knowledge of Windows Server Environment (Windows 2012, Windows 2008)

Detailed knowledge of End User Desktop/Software/Applications

Knowledge of Cisco Networking and Data/Voice solutions
-

Knowledge of Server Virtualisation using VMWare ESX & Citrix XenServer
-

Knowledge of mobile and emerging technologies including iOS, Windows8 and Android based platforms

Detailed knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)

Detailed knowledge of Project Management ( PMI/PMO )
