IT-Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Set up and maintain a secure, reliable, scalable and efficient end-to-end IT infrastructure architecture
- Support installation and configuration of the IT infrastructure
- Optimize the IT infrastructure based on monitoring results, customer requirements, security requirements and service level agreements
- Plan, install and maintain the helpdesk system
- Work on incidents and problems, providing an efficient and timely resolution
- Ensure documentation is created, maintained and distributed appropriately
- Liaise with the European IT team: Develop and maintain global infrastructure standards (e.g. technologies, architecture); Ensure that the global standards are implemented in DACH
- Liaise with the Digital Solutions Team: Support the development, test and integration infrastructure environments; Ensure timely resolution on issues with application systems
- Ensure security policies were applied and are in place

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- In-depth hands-on experience in planning and managing IT infrastructures (end-to-end) 
-Experience in transforming customer demands in IT services and service level agreements 
- Very good technical and theoretical knowledge of today’s end-to-end infrastructure IT stack in one or more of the following areas: Windows server (2016 and above), Active Directory (on premise and Azure), Microsoft Exchange (O365) and SQL Server (2008 and above), Storage (on premise and cloud based), Backup (on premise and off premise), virtualisation (Microsoft HyperV) and networking (LAN/WAN).  
- Experience in planning, setting up and configuring Microsoft Office 365  
- Certified specialist in one or more of the above-mentioned technologies or solutions
- Experience in design, planning and managing of cloud-based infrastructures 
- Verbal and written German communication skills (equivalent to level C1 of the European framework of reference for languages - or better)
- Verbal and written English communication skills (equivalent to level B1 of the European framework of reference for languages - or better)
