IT Infrastructure Consultant

For our customer in Basel we are looking for a 6 months project for an

IT Infrastructure Consultant (m/f) 100%

Main Activities:

- Provides consultancy and support to the IT application teams to propose the appropriate migration strategy for a complete application landscape
- Plans the complete application landscape migration, aligns and hands it over to IT-Operations for execution
- Provides information sharing between the IT application teams and the technical teams responsible for discovery of components, provisioning manager and the technical migration teams
- Facilitating the understanding between the application teams and project teams by engaging the appropriate stakeholders
- Cascades the application team needs to the project team so that the business is represented in project decisions, planning, preparation and participation
- Ensures early communication of the project activities to appropriate IT Partner organizations

Requirements:

- Strong background on IT infrastructure technologies
- Translate business requirement into infrastructure language
- Ability to negotiate between infrastructure and application teams
- Have a good grasp for application landscapes and see technical dependencies
- Excellent communication, negotiation and coordination skills
