IT Infrastructure Architect - Brussels - Contract

Our client, a large international company is looking for skilled Infrastructure Architects for 12 month contracts in Brussels. The roles are fairly generic as far as technologies go but completely focused on Infrastructure. The ideal consultants will have worked their way up for being an engineer to becoming an architect. 

In this role you will be dealing with senior stakeholders, project managers and engineers so ideal candidates will be fluent in English and either French or Dutch.

The key skills and industry experience will be the following:

- The n-tier architectures
- Application Servers: Weblogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, Jboss
- The Oracle 11g DBMS and associated solutions: Dataguard, RAC, ASM, Recovery Manager
- Analysis and interpretation of functional and non - functional for defining the technical architecture and the need for an application hosting infrastructure .
- Problems hosting, operation, outsourcing .
- Issues backup sites and local relief, continuity, recovery and hot rocker incident .
- Strategy storage, backup and archiving .
- The concepts of systems integration.
- Security constraints, constraints management and propagation of identity and authentication and access mechanism .
- The concepts of virtualization.
- Technical skills on UNIX operations (AIX, SOLARIS, HPUNIX, Linux) and Windows.
- Jurisdiction framing architecture and consulting services offerings.
