IT Infrastructure Analyst Job

IT INFRASTRUCTURE ANALYST NEEDED FOR A LONG-TERM CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY WITH YOH'S CLIENT LOCATED IN CHARLOTTE, NC.

Please note that this position does not allow for working remotely, as such the incumbent must be able to work onsite in client's Charlotte, NC location.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Strong Windows background
- Oracle/SQL Server experience
- Infrastructure Analysis/Support experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Serve as liaison between application support teams and operational teams.
- Design application infrastructures in accordance with Duke's enterprise standards
- Balance the needs of the business with the needs of IT
- Install, deploy, configure and support enterprise technology solutions prescribing to Duke's operational SLA's
- Work with software vendors to maintain and upgrade packaged solutions
- Deliver and manage foundational technical environments ("PATHS") required by SDLC
- Facilitate SOX (Sarbanes/Oxley) separation of duties for change management and migrations, protecting system data and infrastructure from unauthorized changes
- Develop/Procure tools and utilities to make processes and systems more efficient
- Provide technical problem isolation and root cause analysis
- Provide infrastructure maintenance and monitoring to ensure high availability of applications

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 6-8 years related IT experience
- Four-year degree in a technical or business field (eg, computer science, engineering, business, mathematics) or equivalent work experience
- 5 or more years of experience demonstrating competency in delivering efficient and effective solutions to diverse and moderately complex business requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively prioritize activities and focus team efforts based-on priority
- Ability to interact with and communicate status to various levels of management
- Proven ability to work in a team environment to solve complex problems
- Strong understanding of Windows Platforms
- Strong understanding of Oracle and SQL Server technologies
- Experience with applications running on SQL Server and Oracle Platforms
- Demonstrated ability to effectively research/investigate (trouble-shoot) reported issues
- Understanding of Business Objects and SSRS reports
- Ability to communicate issues to the appropriate audience

- Strong understanding of windows security
- Working Knowledge of Informatica
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Administration
- Working knowledge of Citrix application publication
