IT Implementation Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced IT Implementation Project Manager for our customer, a large international company in Norway. Position would be located in Oslo or Kristiansand.

Ideal candidate must have experience in IT implementation projects and hold a Prince 2 certificate.

MAIN TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Conduct needs assessment and planning activities to enable the creation of a custom implementation approach and implementation estimates
- Develop custom project plans to ensure that all unique needs and deliverables are met in a defined timeframe and budget
- Provide ongoing management, oversight and leadership on software implementation projects
- Execute and control that client implementations are meeting defined implementation quality standards
- Coordinate internal resources and the delivery of services within the implementation plan, including: software installation, training, data conversion, and data interface development
- Liaison to 3rd party partners as required
- Create and report deliverables to Executive Management

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- University degree in related field
- 5-10 years of working experience in IT implementation projects
- PRINCE 2 Certificate
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Scandinavian language knowledge is a plus
- Highly business oriented, well structured, self-driven, and energetic person, with a focus on results
- Strong people skills and experience in working in cross-functional and virtual teams
- Excellent analytical thinking skills and strong attention to detail
