Projektbeschreibung

We are looking for a temporary IT Helpdesk Support Engineer who will be based at Aberdeen College as part of RM's Managed Service team.

The role is available for an immediate start and until the end of August. To apply for this role, you must hold a current Enhanced CRB or DBS Disclosure/PVG Certificate.

As IT Helpdesk Support Engineer, you will need to be an excellent team player with a proactive communication style and excellent written and verbal skills, able to interact with all customers. You will also need to be able to work quickly, effectively and with precision. You should have previous experience of supporting desktop and network related infrastructure in a Helpdesk or 1st Line Support team, as well as practical and demonstrable knowledge of IT Helpdesk processes, desktop support (hardware and software), hardware installation (PC/laptop builds)

You will be expected to:

- Log and prioritise calls in the helpdesk system
- Manage and resolve 1st line issues
- Work to deadlines within the SLA
- Deliver a high standard of customer service.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a positive work ethic

You should have:

- Experience of working on a busy IT Support Helpdesk
- Experience of maintaining a range of hardware
- Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent customer skills
- Competency in at least three of the following technologies:
- Hardware maintenance/Printer repair and maintenance/Basic network skills/Active Directory/Remote support tools/Backup and restore technology
