IT Governance SME

This is a rare opportunity for an IT Governance specialist to be a subject matter expert for all IT Governance requirements on a Governance Risk and Compliance Project within financial services

This role is responsible for providing subject matter expertise and guidance to ensure the IT Governance requirements are met through the design, build and testing of the GRC solution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The SME - IT Governance also acts as the linkage between the project and the IT Governance BAU teams/stakeholder to manage the delivery and embedding of organisational change within the IT Governance teams building the case for change, executing a change strategy, enabling and assessing readiness of the organisation through managing, preparing and partnering with stakeholders, providing support across business areas impacted by the change, which may include provision of training if required

KEY REQUIREMENTS

- Subject matter expertise in Banking IT Governance requirements/mandates including Regulatory Requirements, COBIT 5 and ISO27002
- Demonstrated management ability, energising staff to engage and support change through partnering and collaborative working with focus on customer and business value and delivering benefits.
- Working knowledge of change management activities and techniques. Competent communication, facilitation, interpersonal and team working skills including a good level of influencing ability. Understands project and change management life cycles, disciplines and procedures. Broad understanding of specific Banking domain areas impacted by the change
- Experience of IBM open pages beneficial
