IT Functional Expert (SAP Supply Chain area)

Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a FUNCTIONAL EXPERT within SAP SUPPLY CHAIN AREA.
This is a contracting role based in Basel and planned to START ASAP until the end of the year with extension opportunities.
Are you an experienced Functional Expert highly experienced in creating in an efficient way Functional Specifications from existing user requirements and currently looking for you next exciting project?

PROJECT BACKGROUND:
The ALPIN 2.0 project is about to redefine the operating model related to Artworks (printed packaging materials - ie patient information leaflet that can be found in the drug package). Managing high number of artwork changes of Drug Products through internal supply chain - a complex process which shall be simplified by the project. It is planned to be achieved via process simplification and interlinked best-in-class informatics infrastructure to make the systems, involved in the processes, more user-friendly and to enable an increased through put of artworks changes.
The position reports functionally to the IT Project Manager.
TASKS:
- Provide Functional Specifications to Technical team for any Customized developments.
- Collaborate with team members (project manager, IT stream lead, business end users, Front End developers, and other UX designers) through the entire design and development process.
- Defining test scenarios and preparing test scripts
IDEAL PROFILE:
- MINIMUM of 5 YEARS' EXPERIENCE with web sites/portals and/or BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
- Min. of 5 YEARS' EXPERIENCE with ERP SYSTEMS, specifically SAP Supply Chain area but not only that
- Experience in CREATING WIREFRAMES, application prototypes
- Knowledge of USER EXPERIENCE DESIGN PRINCIPLES
- Experience or practical knowledge of:
a) BUSINESS PROCESS MODELING Notation
b) SQL - basic knowledge - Strong communication skills with fluency in English
