IT Firmware and Middleware Validation Engineer

Our client is the world leader in computer components seeking a Validation Engineer for an existing project for development of firmware and Middleware for Solid State Drives (SSD). Validation Engineers test software builds and work with Software Engineers to resolve defects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create and revise testing harness software as needed (C++, Python, Peach).
- Analyze automated testing results.
- Investigate test failures to determine root cause.
- Document and record all testing tasks and results in JIRA.
- Update JIRA tasks with progress data.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- C++
- Python
- WDTF Windows Driver Testing
- Microsoft Visual Studio

Preferred skills:
Atlassian Tool Suite - specifically JIRA Kockwork Peach Fuzzing Framework
