IT Financial Analyst Job

IT FINANCIAL ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in AUBURN HILLS, MI.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- This role is responsible for supporting the Financial Management, controlling and administration responsibilities of the IT&S financial data.
- This is performed in conjunction with the IT Governance leadership team and the operational and service management within all areas of the IT collecting, analysing, and consolidating financial data.
- Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Ongoing review and updating of forecast/budget tracking for IT accounts.
- Support maintenance of IT cost allocation/chargeback for affiliates and business units for administrative and project expenses.
- Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends as requested.
- Work with Contract Manager to support timely contract renewals and reporting of obligations for hardware and software.
- Review and verification of Telecom invoices for corporate services, daily.
- Serve as main contact for telecom vendors for billing of services.
- Ongoing review of costs to identify areas of costs savings.
- Assist sites with billing issues with local telecom vendors.
- Assist Controllers and Financial Consultants with special requests for telecom charges.
- Weekly review with Financial Consultant outstanding financial issues/requirements.
- Assist IT managers with their financial responsibilities as requested.
- Other special requests as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum three to five (3-5) years' of financial experience in budget and planning.
- Minimum two (2) years' experience managing contracts and vendors.
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in cost allocations and chargebacks.
- Excellent leadership ability.
- Strong commitment to a team environment.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new situations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance.
