IT Financial Analyst

DURATION: 12 MONTHS+

LOCATION: TULSA, OK

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Enable IT leadership (via involvement in an on-going effort) to implement a business-within-a-business paradigm through organizational culture, structure, and the application of market economics within the enterprise as the basis for an effective resource governance process
- Determines cost of IT products/services by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data.
- Identifies IT financial status by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Works internally with IT, the business, and with outside consultants like Gartner to perform financial analysis, organizational benchmarking, comparative analyses
- Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
- Improves financial status by analysing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
- Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
- Maintains data by entering, verifying, and backing up data within provided tools
- Enables IT leadership via recommended actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
- Protects operations by keeping appropriate financial information confidential.
- Maintains and grows technical and business knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
- Regularly presents reports, research, findings to IT and business leadership team

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Corporate Finance, Developing Standards, Problem Solving, Process Improvement, Activity-Based Costing (ABC), Developing IT Budgets, Cost Accounting, Statistical Analysis, IT Financial Planning and Strategy, Conceptual Skills, Reporting/Presenting, Requirements Analysis, Financial Skills, Business Knowledge, Technical Knowledge, Advanced MS Excel Expertise

EDUCATION: Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, MIS or similar

OTHER TECHNOLOGIES (NOT REQUIRED):
